Amba Interiors is a small family run business that specialises in loose covers and upholstery. With over 50 years of experience in the industry, we work with interior designers to provide the technical support that they need. We are also able to provide a service directly to the public. With us you can be sure of a professional, honest and personal approach to your soft furnishing needs.

Who We Are
Barbara Pearcey. (Founder)
Barbara started an apprenticeship in soft furnishings at Heelas in Reading (a John Lewis partnership store) after finishing her schooling at 15 years of age. In 1971, Barbara and her husband, Michael, began their own soft furnishing business in the Reading area. This became Amba Interiors and she is still at her sewing machine today.

Andrew Pearcey.
Andrew began an apprenticeship with his parents at the age of 20. In 2007, he began a Rural apprenticeship in traditional Upholstery at the Herefordshire Collage of Technology, where he gained an NVQ 3 in upholstery. He now co-runs Amba interiors with his mother, Barbara.
